Committee Charge
- Each member of a committee will become familiar with the mission and goals of IF and IF 2014.
- Each member of a committee will become familiar with the SUNY General Education Student Learning Outcomes.
- The committee will review and revise IF and IF 2014 student learning outcomes as needed.
- The committee will review and assist with implementation of the recommendations from the IF Self-Study and external evaluators report.
- The committee will review and revise assessment plans for the designated IF category to include multiple measures of assessment and benchmarks.
- The committee will collect and analyze assessment data based on the assessment cycle provided.
- Each committee will submit an assessment report to SIFOC and the Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness upon completion of the category assessment.
- The committee is responsible for implementation and oversight of approved assessment recommendations with oversight from SIFOC, College Senate Curriculum Committee, and the AVP for Institutional Effectiveness.
Membership
Committees shall be comprised of approximately 4-6 faculty/professional staff/faculty librarians. The committee will include at least one Senate Intellectual Foundations Oversight Committee (SIFOC) member (chair or liaison).
Faculty and professional staff interested in serving a two- or three-year term on a committee should indicate their interest by submitting a committee interest form to the associate dean of the appropriate school or to the Associate Provost, Grover Cleveland 519.
