The Writing Oversight and Assessment Committee, Information Management Oversight and Assessment Committee, and Critical Thinking Oversight and Assessment Committee are charged with assisting departments with the implementation of Buffalo State’s plan to infuse its Writing across the Curriculum requirement and SUNY competencies of Information Management and Critical Thinking throughout the majors. It is our hope to present a process that both facilitates expeditious implementation of the requirements, but also allows for flexibility in accommodating the needs of departments. Departments struggling to infuse any of the categories may apply for a waiver by submitting a Request for Departmental/Major Accommodation form.
